The rough and tough Gladiators have a soft and glamorous counterpart known as
"The Goddesses."

On and off the field, this versatile group of stunning, charismatic, and talented dancers exemplify the energetic and exhilarating spirit of the Gladiators, the Arena Football League and the exciting city of Las Vegas .

The Goddesses proudly support Las Vegas and the surrounding community throughout the year by appearing and performing at private business functions, public social events, sport activities as well as many charity events!

Since establishing themselves in Las Vegas in 2003, the Goddesses have been recognized for their talent and work throughout the community, like being honored with a gold award from the Marcom Group for their 2006 Calendar and Collector Cards.

**Little know fact… April 29, 2006, was named the Las Vegas Gladiator Goddess Day by Las Vegas Mayor, Oscar Goodman.**

HISTORY

Originally named the Gladiator Girls, the Las Vegas version of the dance team was established in 2003 when the Gladiators arena football franchise moved to Las Vegas from the east coast, formerly known as the New Jersey Gladiators. In preparing for the 2005 AFL season, and wanting to build on the "gladiator" image of the football team, the dance team was renamed and became known as the "The Goddesses."

DANCERS
Personal appearances, personality, application, dance ability, performance skills and team spirit were major factors in the selection process. Team members must meet and maintain the necessary standards for appearance, professionalism, attitude and dance ability throughout their reign as a Gladiator Goddess. The diverse team ranges in age and come to the Gladiators from around the globe. In addition to dancing on the team, attending events, media interviews and weekly practices, the Goddesses attend college and work full or part time jobs.

The LV Gladiator Goddesses perform a variety of dance styles and routines throughout the season including Country, Jazz, Hip-Hop and Swing.
